Privredna banka Zagreb has introduced a new Intesa Sanpaolo Group debit card - Inspire Card.
Inspire Card is the first Visa Classic debit card on the Croatian market. All clients who contract a PBZ current account will now get an Inspire card. The card retains all the benefits that a Maestro current account card has had so far, but there are also some news.
Inspire card uses state-of-the-art technology for point-of-sale payments and is the first Visa contactless card on the Croatian market. Lower point-of-sale amounts may be paid in a faster and more simple way and there is no need to enter a PIN or to sign. You only have to press the card against the card reader on special designated points of sale marked as Visa payWave acceptance points. This service is new in the world markets as well and it will be available in Croatia in the near future. Our clients and the public will be notified about this possibility once it is available.
Inspire card may be used for one-time payments or purchases by 12 instalments maximum, free of extra charges or interests and with one month grace period. It may be used on Privredna banka Zagreb POS devices on more than 17.000 points of sale.
Also, one of the special benefits of Inspire card is that cash can be withdrawn free-of-charge at over 9.000 Intesa Sanpaolo Group ATMs worldwide.
Inspire card offers a high degree of fraud protection and enables even safer purchases over the web. The highest security level when using the Inspire card is ensured by 3-D Secure™ software for safe internet purchases called Verified by Visa. The 'Verified by Visa' software enables the users to authenticate themselves with their Inspire cards on the Internet, confirming their participation in the purchasing process and internet-based payment.

The Inspire card will be re-issued automatically to owners of PBZ current accounts and those who are authorised to use them after their existing cards expire and upon their request, our clients can get their Inspire card immediately in PBZ branch offices, free-of-charge.
