Is the first online event of the Networking Talks series, entirely dedicated to Private Equity, M&A, and other financial solutions to support the growth of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

With an informative and straightforward approach, the topic was explored by experts, scholars, and market participants, representing different perspectives to facilitate understanding and decision-making. Specifically, the focus was on challenges that are affecting these categories of financial support. From ESG-compliant policies to internationalization, from digital transition to generational shifts: each phase in development requires bespoke tools that only a leading banking partner can provide.

The first session was moderated by Francesco Mascolo, Head of CIAECO Institutional Affairs ISB at Intesa Sanpaolo and the guests included keynote speakers:

  • Professor Carlo Altomonte, Associate Professor of Economics, Università Commerciale L. Bocconi and Associate Dean for Stakeholder Engagement Programs at SDA Bocconi School of Management, Director of the Italian RRP Lab;
  • Alessandro Santacroce, ISBD Corporate Senior Banker, Intesa Sanpaolo;
  • Andrea Oldrini, Partner at Bain & Company, member of EMEA Financial Services and Private Equity practice;
  • Nikolay Angelov, Associate Director, SME Finance & Development EBRD, London.

During the second session, Daniela Blandino Head of SME Clients & Commercial Banks Products, ISBD, Intesa Sanpaolo moderated a round table with the participation of:

  • Lino Di Santo, Head of ISBD SME Clients & Complex Lending, Intesa Sanpaolo,
  • Jole Petrov, CFO Yellow Submarine d.o.o., Zagreb (HR),
  • Giacomo Billi, Founder and CEO of Alive Capital S.A., Bucharest, (RO),
  • Gergely Tétényi, Area Manager, M&A Specialist at CIB Bank, Budapest (HU).
