PBZ signs the Diversity Charter

The Croatian Business Council for Sustainable Development organised an official ceremony for the signing of the Diversity Charter on 4 October 2017, on which occasion the Charter was also signed by Privredna banka Zagreb. By signing the Diversity Charter, we committed ourselves to put in additional efforts to promote positive values in the business environment. The Diversity Charter is an initiative launched in 16 member states of the European Union, now also joined by Croatia. The document is individually prepared by each country and the text of the Charter is voluntarily signed by business and other organisations, which thus undertake to implement the policy of diversity and non-discrimination in the workplace and the business environment.
The Croatian Charter has been prepared within the scope of a project supported by the European Commission - DG Justice. As we were informed at the signing ceremony organised by the Croatian Business Council for Sustainable Development, Croatia is the 19th European country where companies have adopted the Charter.
The signatories are expected to implement the diversity policy, promote the diversity principle, and report on activities in the field. Signatories to the Charter include some of the most reputable companies and organisations in Croatia such as Ina, Atlantic grupa, HEP, AD Plastik, Ericsson Nikola Tesla, Coca-Cola Croatia, Hrvatski telekom and Tele 2, Končar, Podravka, OTP banka, Pliva and Splitska banka.
