Insurance of Exclusive package users

The insurer for the collective insurance policy for users of the Exclusive package of Privredna banka Zagreb d.d. is GENERALI osiguranje d.d.

The insurance contractor is Privredna banka Zagreb d.d., Radnička cesta 50, 10000 Zagreb.

The insurance beneficiaries/insured persons are natural persons/consumers who are users of the Exclusive package and who are entitled to compensation based on the insurance contract. The beneficiaries in the event of the death of the insured are the legal heirs of the insured. The beneficiary for other contracted coverage in accordance with the insurance contract is the insured himself.

This insurance product includes the following types and services of insurance:

  • travel health insurance,
  • home help assistance and
  • car assistance.

Upon the occurrence of an insured event, it is necessary to immediately contact the Insurer's assistance and assistance service provider (Europ Assistance) by phone at the hotline number +385 1 688 8888, in order to provide the most appropriate assistance (assistance) depending on the event.

COLLECTIVE INSURANCE FOR USERS OF THE EXCLUSIVE PACKAGE PRIVREDNA BANKA ZAGREB D.D.

EXCERPT FROM INSURANCE CONDITIONS  

Introductory provisions

This product includes the following types and services of insurance:

  • travel health insurance
  • domestic help assistance,
  • automobile  assistance during travel and stay abroad.

for users of the Exclusive package at Privredna banka Zagreb d.d.

The mentioned types and services of insurance cannot be contracted on an independent basis, but exclusively as an insurance package.

Services for the mentioned types of insurance are services that provide the insured with the organization of assistance and coverage of associated costs in the event of an emergency. Services are available 24 hours a day.

Insurance coverage

  1. Travel health insurance is valid worldwide outside the Republic of Croatia, except for countries in which the insured person is entitled to public health care.
  2. Home assistance is only applicable to the place of insurance, i.e. the address of the property registered with the Exclusive package in connection with this coverage, and in the territory of the Republic of Croatia. Home assistance is included for the main building, apartment or house, as well as for its ancillary buildings.
  3. Car assistance coverage is valid in Europe in a geographical sense and applies to the vehicle registration registered with the Exclusive package.

Beginning and duration of the insurance contract

  1. The insurance contract begins on January 1, 2026 at 00:00 a.m. for all users of the Exclusive package who are package users covered by this insurance on the same day and ends at 12:00 p.m. on the day indicated in the policy as the insurance expiration date.
  2. For the user of the Exclusive package who is contracted after the start of the insurance and who thereby acquires the status of insured, the insurance begins at 24:00 on the day of contracting the Exclusive package, and ends on the expiration of 24:00 on the day of cancellation or termination of the Exclusive package. In case of termination of validity of the Collective Insurance Agreement, for any reason, for all insured persons, the insurance coverage ends at 24:00 on the day on which the Collective Insurance Agreement ceased to be valid.

Travel health insurance

Insured person

1. The insured person during the trip and stay abroad can be any user of the Exclusive package who is covered by this insurance.

2. The insurance coverage is valid throughout the world outside the Republic of Croatia, except for countries in which the insured person is entitled to public health care.

Insurance coverage

The insurance coverage begins upon crossing the state border of the Republic of Croatia and ends upon returning to the Republic of Croatia at the moment of crossing the state border of the Republic of Croatia.

The maximum duration of each individual trip covered by this insurance is 30 days.

The insurance covers one insured event during the duration of the insurance contract (on an annual basis).

Compensation from insurance

In the event of an insured event, the insurer will pay an insurance premium of up to EUR 2,000 for travel health insurance, or up to EUR 300 for dental treatment due to toothache, as well as the costs of emergency medical transport to the nearest hospital of up to EUR 1,000 (dental treatment for the purpose of relieving acute toothache/transport costs by an officially approved emergency service for the insured person's admission to the nearest hospital), in accordance with the issued insurance policy.

The insurance covers one insured event for the duration of the insurance contract (on an annual basis).

Home Help Assistance

Subject of insurance

The subject of home assistance insurance is emergencies that require action necessary to prevent further damage to the property reported under the Exclusive package.

Emergency

An emergency is considered a sudden and unexpected event that resulted in damage or destruction of the insured's property and whose urgent repair is necessary to prevent:

  • further damage to the apartment and objects in the apartment;
  • endangering the health or safety of the insured due to damage to the apartment;
  • unsuitable stay of the insured due to damage to the apartment.

Coverage

The costs of organizing the arrival of a repairman to the site of a damaging event that requires the following emergency intervention are insured, the purpose of which is to repair the malfunction and/or damage with the primary goal of preventing further damage to the apartment and objects in the apartment, preventing endangerment of the health or safety of the insured, or preventing the insured from living in inadequate conditions due to damage caused to the apartment:

  • repair of water and sewage pipes
  • repair of electrical installations
  • repair of locks or enabling the opening of doors
  • repair of glass
  • carpentry work.

Insured expenses

1.   Home help assistance covers the following costs:

costs of providing information and organizing help,

service costs for one contractor, which include labor costs and travel expenses of the service contractor up to the amount of 160 EUR.

2.   Costs that arise above the insurance limit are the responsibility of the insured themselves.

3.   In one insurance year, the insured can use a maximum of three home help assistance services.

4.   If, due to an emergency, safe residence in the property is not possible, the home help assistance service provides transportation and/or temporary accommodation for the insured. Transportation represents the insured's drive to temporary accommodation. Transportation costs are limited to the amount of 80 EUR per adverse event.

5.   Temporary accommodation costs are covered for a maximum of one night and up to the amount of 80 EUR, for each insured.

6. Within the scope of point (5), persons living with the insured in a common household are also considered to be insured.

Car assistance during travel and stay abroad

Scope of the insurer's liability

Car assistance is a coverage that, in the event of a breakdown, damage or disappearance of your vehicle, offers 24-hour organization and coverage of the costs of assistance services shown in the table below.
Material costs are not included in the coverage (spare parts, fuel, etc.).
This coverage can only be arranged for passenger cars registered in the Republic of Croatia and with HR license plates.

The limit of all costs per case is EUR 1,061.78, and the limit of all costs per your policy in one year of insurance is EUR 2,123.56.
The coverage includes a maximum of 4 services per policy.
Car assistance insurance is arranged for the European area (EUROPA PACKAGE).

Replacement vehicle rental costs. A replacement vehicle is a vehicle that you use in the event that the service personnel determine that your vehicle is not in a roadworthy condition. The replacement vehicle will be in approximately the same class as your vehicle (but no higher than mid-range), and the rental of the vehicle is limited to a maximum of three days in the event of a breakdown and five days in the event of damage to your vehicle.      Yes

Instruction in case of an insured event

Upon the occurrence of an insured event, it is necessary to immediately contact the Insurer's assistance and assistance service provider (Europ Assistance) by phone, at the hotline number +385 1 688 8888, in order to provide the most appropriate assistance (assistance) depending on the event.

The necessary information that must be provided to the operator on duty is:

  • name and surname
  • OIB
  • the telephone number from which you are calling and to which the operator on duty will return the call
  • country and city/town where you are located (for travel health insurance)
  • address of the insurance place (for home assistance)
  • vehicle registration number (for car assistance)

After the call is established, the operator on duty of the Insurer's assistance and assistance service provider will provide instructions on further necessary procedures.
