"The latest donation we realized as a part of our long-term humanitarian project "Doing Good Every Day” is intended for the Home for the Raising of Children and Young People in Karlovac. We hope that the adaptation of the residential building to provide accommodation services to our beneficiaries shall contribute to improving the quality of their daily lives and social care and enable them to stay as comfortable as possible. More than fifty donations within our project "Doing Good Every Day", which included numerous centres for children and youth, paediatric wards and children's hospitals across our country, confirm our continued commitment and commitment to helping the community in which we operate“, said Mislav Blažić, the President of the Management Board of PBZ Card.

The Home for the Raising of Children and Young People in Karlovac provides social care services to children and young people with behavioural problems and mental health problems, offering accommodation, half-day and full-day stay, organized housing, counselling and assistance to primary and foster families and individuals after leaving care, service inpatient and outpatient team assessments and more for about a hundred beneficiaries.

"Thanks to the social sensitivity of our donors, PBZ Group with the support of the Ministry of Labor, Pension System, Family and Social Policy and the City of Karlovac, with this donation we have created the foundations for expanding the range of services we can provide as an institution. The social welfare system has begun an extensive process of transformation, i.e. de-institutionalization of care so that as few children as possible spend as little time as possible in institutional care. This also refers to our effort to provide organized housing to some of our beneficiaries with comprehensive support. The donation of the PBZ Group has greatly contributed to the adaptation of the residential building, specifically enabling the installation of a new roof, which we received a concession for use from the City of Karlovac, and will be used for organized housing. On behalf of the Home for the Raising of Children and Young People in Karlovac, I want to thank PBZ Group for their long-term support to all those who in any way invest their professional and personal time in caring for others", said Martina Brajdić Manojlović, director of the Home for the Raising of Children and Young People in Karlovac.
