Euromoney Excellence Award 2021: PBZ is The Best Bank in Croatia


Zagreb, July 15, 2021 - Privredna banka Zagreb (PBZ), a member of Intesa Sanpaolo Group, has won The Euromoney Awards for Excellence 2021 as Croatia's Best Bank. The Euromoney Awards for Excellence are awarded worldwide to financial institutions that provide the highest levels of service, innovation and expertise to their customers. A wide range of qualitative and quantitative criteria was taken into consideration for this award that is viewed as the most prestigious award in the global banking industry. 
 
On the occasion of the announcement of this award, Dinko Lucić, President of the Management Board of PBZ said: "I am very proud of this international award which awarded the excellence of the entire PBZ Group team. People are our greatest value and strength, and the fact that we are rewarded for our results achieved in extremely difficult circumstances, during a year marked by the pandemic and strong earthquakes in our country, make this award even more valuable. Euromoney's Awards for Excellence were established in 1992 and were the first of their kind in the global banking industry. This year Euromoney received a record number of submissions from banks in regional and country awards programme that covers more than 50 regional awards and best bank awards in 100 countries.

PBZ is the leading donor in the country and unrivalled among banks regarding donations to healthcare institutions in combating the Covid-19 pandemic as well as repairing the consequences of the devastating earthquake that hit Zagreb and its surroundings and Sisak-Moslavina county.
