Zagreb, 29 May 2025. - Privredna banka Zagreb (PBZ), part of Intesa Sanpaolo’s International Banks Division (IBD), acted as the sole issue agent and investor for IND – EKO's corporate bond. This issue is part of the Minibond initiative supported by the IBD Department for Corporate, SME, Small Business and it enabled the company IND - EKO to raise funds using a bond issue for the purpose of further growth, development and financial stability.
IND – EKO's minibonds were issued in a nominal amount of 3 million euros, maturing in 2032. This makes IND - EKO the ninth issuer participating in the expansion of the Croatian minibond market.
IND – EKO is a dynamic private company which has, during its 30 years of experience, collected vast experience in all areas of industrial environmental protection, and became a key contributor in resolving difficult environmental issues in Croatia. The company's goal is not only to follow European trends, but also to actively participate in their shaping - as leaders of the green transition, not only in transport, but also in all other business segments.
The funds raised by this issue will be used as part of the Croatian Motorways ltd. project, which anticipates the installation of a total of 250 new charging points for electric vehicles, equipped with faster, more efficient and safer chargers, at 25 rest areas along the A1, A3, A5, A6 and A7 motorways, which are part of the TEN-T transport network of the European Union. New medium-voltage connection infrastructure with a capacity of 1.5 MW will be built on all locations, including modern substations and transformers. The project was awarded to a consortium consisting of the company IND-EKO d.o.o. and its affiliated companies ZIPER EV CHARGING d.o.o. and IE-ENERGY d.o.o.
The subscription agreement was signed by Željko Šmitran, Director of IND - EKO and Vedrana Jelušić Kašić, Member of the Management Board of PBZ.
