"PBZ for women entrepreneurs” initiative launch

 Zagreb, 10 July 2025 - Privredna banka Zagreb (PBZ), part of the Intesa Sanpaolo’s International Banks Division, has launched its new initiative, “PBZ for women entrepreneurs”, at an event held in Zagreb attended by numerous women  entrepreneurs.  This initiative, focused on strengthening female entrepreneurship and creating an encouraging business environment for their growth and development, has been designed as a concrete response to the needs of today’s women entrepreneurs.

As a financial institution that actively contributes to economic development, we have introduced a range of benefits for small and medium-sized women-owned and women-led businesses – from more favourable long-term investment loans and non-purpose working capital loans, to transaction banking products linked to business accounts and digital solutions that facilitate everyday operations. All this comes with the support of the EIB Group and the InvestEU programme, with the aim of improving access to finance, enabling digital transformation, and achieving ESG objectives. In addition to financial support, this initiative has also been envisioned as a platform for delivering free educational workshops that will equip women entrepreneurs with the key knowledge and tools needed to develop and advance their businesses, make quality strategic decisions, and introduce innovations that will help them successfully respond to market challenges. We would also like to highlight the networking opportunities provided by this programme through organised networking events, such as this one, where women entrepreneurs can share experiences, establish valuable connections, and open the door to new collaborations.
