Zagreb, August 29th, 2025 – Privredna banka Zagreb (PBZ), part of the International Banks Division (IBD) of Intesa Sanpaolo, acted as the sole issuing agent and investor in the corporate bond issuance of CENTAR BROKER d.o.o. This issuance is part of the Minibond Initiative supported by the IBD Department for Corporate, SME and Small Business. Through this mini bond, as a capital market financial instrument, CENTAR BROKER  has secured long-term funding to support its continued growth and business development.

CENTAR BROKER was founded in 2009 as an independent insurance and reinsurance broker. Its clients are primarily legal entities, ranging from public companies and institutions such as hospitals, cities and municipalities to private clinics and construction firms. The company has been successfully operating in the market for 16 years, showing strong growth and expanding its base of reputable clients, with plans for further acquisitions.

The mini bonds issued by CENTAR BROKER have a nominal value of 7 million euros and mature in 2032. With this issuance, CENTAR BROKER becomes the twelfth issuer of mini bonds.

This issuance enables CENTAR BROKER to continue its horizontal business development through the acquisition of new companies.

The issuance agreement was signed by Ivan Valentić, Director of CENTAR BROKER, and Dinko Lucić, President of the Management Board of PBZ.

Ivan Valentić, Director of CENTAR BROKER LLC, stated the following: “CENTAR BROKER has recorded significant, continuous organic growth since 2009 and will become the largest independent insurance and reinsurance broker in domestic ownership this year. Our ambition does not stop here, as we see further growth both organically and inorganically. We are proud and grateful that Privredna banka Zagreb has recognized our achievements and potential. The Minibond issuance marks a turning point in our further development, and we look forward to the challenges ahead. We are thankful to our clients and employees for their continued support on our journey.”

Dinko Lucić, President of the Management Board of PBZ said: “The issuance of mini bonds by CENTAR BROKER represents another strong indicator of the growing interest of small and medium-sized enterprises in the capital market as a sustainable and flexible source of financing. CENTAR BROKER is the twelfth issuer to join our Minibond initiative, further confirming that this instrument is becoming a very effective tool for financing small and medium-sized enterprises not only in Croatia but also more broadly in the region. To date, we have successfully placed €70 million worth of mini bonds on the Croatian and Slovenian markets, which further demonstrates the growing trust in this type of financing. It is important for financial institutions to become more actively involved in strengthening capital markets and to enable highly successful companies to become nationally and regionally competitive by growing horizontally. In doing so, we also contribute to the momentum of the domestic economy by supporting local employment and creating the conditions for long-term sustainable business operations.”

The bond issuance process involved the participation of Vedrana Jelušić Kašić, member of the Management Board, the Capital Markets and Small and Medium Enterprises teams, the Executive Director of Medium Enterprises Josip Krešić, the Assistant Executive Director of Corporate Banking Products Goran Kursan, the Director of the Zagreb Region Tomislav Budimir, the Director of SME in the Zagreb Region Jelena Rudolf Matijaščić and the Chief Coordinator in Capital Markets Filip Mikloška, as well as colleagues from the loan approval sector.
