It’s our great pleasure to announce that the Corporate, SME, Small Business of IBD, Intesa Sanpaolo’s International Banks Division, through the Croatian bank of the Group Privredna Banka Zagreb (PBZ) has been awarded at the Finance Community Awards 2024 held in Milan in the SME INTERNATIONAL GROWTH FINANCING category. The Division has been nominated for the minibonds issuance program dedicated to small and medium-sized enterprises, an innovative financial instrument set to revolutionize how businesses access capital; in particular, Intesa Sanpaolo launched the first minibond in Croatia thanks to the contribution of PBZ, which has supported mini bonds issuance of popular gourmet burger chain Submarine. Lino Di Santo, Head of Commercial Strategy, Business Development SME Network at IBD Corporate, SME, Small Business, received the award along with Vedrana Jelušić Kašić, Member of the Management Board of PBZ, and colleagues from the Division and PBZ.
