The Ministry of Demography and Immigration of the Republic of Croatia awarded the “Family-Friendly Employer” award to selected companies that continuously invest in the well-being of their employees and encourage work-life balance. Privredna banka Zagreb (PBZ), part of International Banks Division of Intesa Sanpaolo, received this award in the large companies’ category, which was received on behalf of the Bank by Darija Anić, Director of Internal Communications and CSR in Human Resources. This year, 80 companies from various sectors competed for the Ministry's recognition, demonstrating the growing importance of family values in the business environment. This is the third time that PBZ has won this recognition, further confirming its status as a leader in the implementation of good practices that provide employees with flexibility, support in parenting, and a better balance between professional and private obligations.
We are pleased that PBZ's numerous benefits have been recognized, especially our unique PBZ family practices concept, which includes a range of activities with the purpose of supporting employees in all stages of life. Key initiatives include the payment of allowances for the birth, adoption, or fostering of a child, the possibility of working part-time for the first month after returning from maternity leave with full pay, children's summer vacations, PBZ Kids Week, workshops on various parenting topics, webinars, a corporate kindergarten, sports events and many more. This recognition confirms that our efforts have been recognized and we will also continue with good practices in the future.
