PBZ at the “Ponos Hrvatske” Awards

For more than 20 years, the “Ponos Hrvatske” (Pride of Croatia) Awards have been honouring brave and selfless people whose good deeds transform their communities. It is the most prominent humanitarian initiative in Croatia, highlighting individuals whose kindness inspires others and makes our society a better place. The humility of the recipients is as remarkable as their deeds.

In the simple sentence many of them often say — “we just did what needed to be done” — lies the true power of their greatness. Genuine goodness does not seek attention or expect recognition. This is precisely why it is vital for society to acknowledge and value such individuals.

At the award ceremony, Dinko Lucić, President of the PBZ Management Board, stated: “Through their actions, these individuals make our society better and more humane. We are grateful to them, as well as to everyone who helps bring their stories to a wider audience — stories and deeds that inspire others to do good every day.”

On this occasion, Dinko Lucić presented an award to twins Luciana and Andro Koren for their exceptional humanitarian work, while PBZ received a recognition from the Ponos Hrvatske association. We are proud to be part of this story of courage, kindness and humanity.
