Zagreb, 31 July 2026 – Privredna banka Zagreb (PBZ) and the PBZ Employees’ Trade Union have signed the Second Amendment to the Collective Agreement, introducing further improvements to working conditions, employee benefits and the overall quality of working life across the Bank.
The Amendment is the result of constructive social dialogue, mutual respect and a shared commitment to providing employees with competitive employment conditions, while ensuring alignment with evolving business, organizational and market requirements.
The agreed changes include enhancements to annual leave entitlements for employees with more than 30 years of service, as well as to the employee remuneration and benefits framework. In particular, the Amendment further strengthens the approach to employee remuneration, in line with the agreement between the social partners to conduct a regular annual review of base salaries based on a meritocratic approach. This reinforces the shared commitment of the Bank and the Trade Union to a transparent and sustainable remuneration framework that enables continuous alignment with market developments, business performance, and the need to attract and retain key talent.
The Amendment also enhances employees’ financial benefits through increases in several categories of existing allowances and benefits, with the amounts aligned with the maximum non-taxable thresholds prescribed by applicable tax regulations. In particular, occasional employee awards and the annual lump-sum payment have been increased, underscoring PBZ’s commitment to maintaining a competitive and sustainable benefits framework that contributes to the financial security and well-being of employees and their families.
The Annex was signed on behalf of the PBZ d.d. Employees’ Trade Union by its President, Ljubica Petrović, in the presence of Trade Union Representative Danijela Jurišić Marijan, and on behalf of PBZ by Dinko Lucić, President of the Management Board, and Miroslav Halužan, Member of the Management Board, in the presence of PBZ Human Resources representatives Kornelija Knez and Diana Gulin.
By signing the Second Amendment to the Collective Agreement, the Bank and the Trade Union have reaffirmed their shared commitment to further improving working conditions and continuing a partnership built on open dialogue, mutual trust and a common goal: creating a supportive and engaging workplace for all PBZ employees.
Our people have always been our most valuable asset enabling PBZ to achieve sustainable results. By continuously investing in a workplace that recognizes the contribution, experience and needs of our employees, we are building an environment that supports both individual development and the long-term success of the Bank.
