PBZ Group donated to Educational Home Mali Lošinj

PBZ Group donated two vehicles to the Educational Home Mali Lošinj for a better life quality of its beneficiaries

Mali Lošinj/Zagreb, April 21, 2022 - PBZ Group, a member of the Intesa Sanpaolo Group, continues to support projects for the benefit of children and young people across the country as a part of its humanitarian project "Doing Good Every Day". This is confirmed by the latest donation granted to the Educational Home Mali Lošinj in the amount of HRK 199,330. Thanks to this grant, the Home has procured two personal vehicles that will enable safer transportation and a better life quality for its beneficiaries. The grant was handed over by Vilijana Belas, Executive Director of Public Relations and Marketing of Privredna banka Zagreb and Mladenka Dubravac, Chief Public Relations Coordinator of PBZ Card.

"Thanks to the Project "Doing Good Every Day”, in cooperation with the Ministry of Labour, Pension System, Family and Social Policy, we were allocated financial resources for the purchase of two personal vehicles that we desperately needed. Namely, the Educational Home Mali Lošinj provides accommodation and education to 27 beneficiaries in Mali Lošinj and 22 beneficiaries in Cres, who are in need of safe transport to the necessary medical examinations, visits to their families, excursions and many other daily needs. Sometimes it happens that we need more vehicles in a day due to scheduled appointments that are not in the same location. As long as our beneficiaries are staying with us, we take care of them and their needs, providing them with various forms of support, education and training, and this grant shall help us organize our busy weekly schedule and, most importantly, enable safe transportation of our beneficiaries. We want to thank the PBZ Group, our Ministry and all those who participated in the realization of this very valuable donation for us", said Silvija Kocijan, Principal of the Educational Home Mali Lošinj.

We are looking forward to every opportunity to help children and young people in Croatia, and we are glad that through our long-standing humanitarian „Doing Good Every Day“ we have managed to provide help to the Educational Home Mali Lošinj. This is the 61st donation within our humanitarian project by means of which we provide support to the project launched by the Ministry of Health "Monitoring of Children Exposed to Neurorisks" and the project launched by the Ministry of Labour, Pension System, Family and Social Policy "For a better life of children in social care homes." Our donations have, so far, included numerous homes for children and young people, paediatric wards and children's hospitals throughout Croatia. So far, as a part of the project "For a better life of children in social care homes", we have granted donations to 17 children's homes and our goal is to help as many children - beneficiaries of social care homes services as we can, and there are about 5,600 such children in Croatia today. Sve ove donacije potvrđuju našu trajnu opredijeljenost i posvećenost pomaganju zajednici u kojoj poslujemo“, said Vilijana Belas, Executive Director of Public Relations and Marketing of Privredna banka Zagreb.

Donation to the Educational Home Mali Lošinj is a part of the socially responsible business project of PBZ Group, a member of the Intesa Sanpaolo Group, which the Group has been implementing for thirteen years under the name "Doing Good Every Day".
