What is #withKEY and where is it located?
#withKEY is an authentication system (mobile token) integrated into the PBZ digital banking mobile app, enabling you to log in to the desktop app and to authorise transactions.
You access it on the login screen of your mobile app, by swiping the menu on the bottom of the mobile app screen and tapping #withKEY located in the second row. Then enter your mobile app PIN or use the biometric method to create a single-use #withKEY password.
Within the #withKEY authentication system, you can see your user number.
How do I access the PBZ digital banking desktop application?
You can access the destop application using the following methods:
1. #withKEY
- on the home screen of the mobile app, select #withKEY and enter the PIN, or use biometric authentication
- on the desktop app login screen, enter the User Number #withKEY in the Username field, and the generated #withKEY code in the One-time password field
2. using automatic messaging (Smart login)
- access the desktop app using #withKEY, and enter the user number #withKEY in the Username field
- the Smart login screen shows; select Activate
- the next time you log in to the desktop app, a personalised greeting message is displayed - select Login from the login screen
- your mobile device will receive the message “Request for login to PBZ application", select Login and enter the PIN/biometric data. The message “Login request successfully submitted" will appear.

3. using CAP card reader
- open the login screen of the online application and enter the bank card number without spaces in the Username field
- enter the card’s PIN into the reader and you will see a one-time password on the screen
- enter this password without spaces into the One-time password field in the desktop app
4. using PBZ mToken
- open the login screen of the desktop application and enter the serial number of PBZ mToken without spaces in the Username field
- enter the single-use password generated by PBZ mToken in the One-time password field
